Primary English Teacher

As a Primary English Teacher, your role involves developing students" reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills through engaging and age-appropriate lessons. You are responsible for fostering a love for the English language while ensuring that students achieve academic excellence in line with the school's curriculum standards. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, prepare, and deliver effective English lessons aligned with the school's academic plan and curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State Board as applicable). - Use interactive and creative teaching methods to make learning enjoyable and effective. - Integrate grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and creative writing exercises into daily lessons. - Encourage active participation and critical thinking in students. - Conduct reading sessions, storytelling, role plays, and language games to enhance communication skills. - Identify and support students with varying abilities through differentiated instruction. - Design and administer class tests, assignments, and examinations. - Maintain accurate records of students" progress and provide timely feedback. - Prepare report cards and participate in parent-teacher meetings. - Maintain discipline and a positive classroom environment conducive to learning. - Foster respect, confidence, and teamwork among students. - Collaborate with colleagues for cross-curricular activities and events. - Participate in school functions, assemblies, competitions, and English Week celebrations. - Attend training sessions, workshops, and meetings as required by the management. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelors Degree in English / Literature / Education (B.A. English with B.Ed. preferred). - Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in primary classes. - Strong command over English language (spoken and written).
