You will be tasked with preparing and delivering accurate pricing quotes while ensuring profitability. It will be essential to analyze market trends, competitor rates, and customer demands to optimize pricing strategies. Collaboration with the sales team to develop tailored pricing solutions for clients is a key aspect of the role. Moreover, you will be required to ensure compliance with global trade regulations, Incoterms, and company policies. Building and nurturing strong relationships with international agents, shipping lines, and suppliers will be crucial. Monitoring pricing trends and proposing enhancements to improve margins and competitiveness will also be part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate should possess 3-5 years of experience in pricing and freight forwarding, strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of international shipping, Incoterms, and customs regulations is essential. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and freight management systems is required.
