Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Gurugram for a Press Shop Engineer. The Press Shop Engineer will be responsible for overseeing daily press shop operations, managing maintenance and performance of machinery, ensuring quality production, and monitoring quality standards. This role requires troubleshooting production-related issues, maintaining production schedules, and adhering to safety protocols. The engineer will collaborate with the manufacturing team to optimize efficiency and output.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in press shop operations, machinery maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical or operational problems.
• Understanding of quality inspection standards and processes, alongside the ability to monitor and achieve quality benchmarks.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with attention to detail for process improvements and operational efficiency.
• Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping related to production processes, equipment, and reports.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with team members and department managers effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a press shop environment or similar manufacturing setup would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with safety standards and manufacturing compliance is preferred.
