Certifications: CCNA, CCNP Preferred or Equivalent About The Role: As a Networking Presales, you will play a pivotal role in bridging technical solutions with customer business needs. You will work closely with the sales team to understand customer challenges, design tailored networking architectures, and demonstrate the value of our solutions through presentations, demos, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs). You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through technology choices across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, network security, and cloud networking. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts in a business-relevant manner. You will also collaborate with product and delivery teams to ensure the proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with the customer's long-term goals. Key Responsibilities: Understand customer requirements and propose tailored networking solutions. Design and present technical networking solutions, including LAN, WAN, wireless, data center, SD-WAN, network security, and cloud networking. Deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients and stakeholders. Conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) exercises and pilot projects to validate solutions. Respond to RFPs/RFIs with accurate technical and commercial inputs. Build strong relationships as a trusted technical advisor to customers. Support sales teams by articulating solution value and competitive advantages. Create solution documents, network diagrams, and BoMs for proposals. Collaborate with product, engineering, and delivery teams for solution alignment. Maintain a deep understanding of networking products (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba, etc.) and emerging technologies. Continuously upgrade personal certifications, attend training sessions, and stay updated with emerging networking technologies. Ensure a smooth handover of finalized designs and project scope to the post-sales delivery teams. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field. 6-9 years of proven PreSales or Solutions Engineering experience in networking or IT infrastructure. Deep technical expertise in networking technologies: LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, firewalls, and load balancers. Strong hands-on knowledge of leading vendor products (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper, Aruba, etc.). Solid understanding of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and emerging technologies like SASE and Zero Trust. Ability to design complex network architectures and create detailed solution documentation. Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience responding to RFPs, RFIs, and creating proposals with high-quality technical and commercial inputs. Skilled at conducting technical workshops, customer demos, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs). Industry certifications preferred: CCNP, CCDP, NSE4/7, PCNSE, JNCIP, CWNP, or equivalent. Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think creatively and strategically under pressure. Collaborative approach, working effectively with sales, product management, and delivery teams. Strong documentation skills (solution designs, technical write-ups, presentations). Willingness to stay current with networking trends, certifications, and emerging technologies.
