For more details visit valuepointsystems.com Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Presales Engineer with expertise in End User Computing (EUC) hardware including laptops, desktops, and workstations . The ideal candidate will support the sales team in understanding customer requirements, designing hardware solutions, delivering technical presentations, and ensuring successful client engagement from a techno commercial perspective. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide appropriate end computing hardware solutions. Conduct detailed requirement analysis, site assessments, and customer meetings to gather technical needs. Prepare and deliver engaging product presentations and demonstrations focused on laptops, desktops, and workstations. Design optimal hardware configurations based on customer requirements and budget. Respond to RFPs, RFQs, and technical questionnaires with high-quality and accurate documentation. Work with OEMs like HP, Dell, Lenovo, etc., to ensure up-to-date product information and solution alignment. Work with OEM’s sizing the requirement and commercials. Logging the Technical required in OEM portals to extract the right price. Time to Time Briefing about New Technologies to sales Team. Conduct Proof of Concept (POC) and pilot implementations when required. Provide technical training and support to the sales team and clients as needed. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and new technologies. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3–7 years of experience in a presales or technical consultant role in the IT hardware domain. Strong technical knowledge of laptops, desktops, and workstation specifications and use cases. Hands-on experience with OEM solutions (e.g., Dell OptiPlex, HP EliteBook, Lenovo ThinkPad, etc.) Understanding of OS imaging, device management, and hardware lifecycle. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong documentation and proposal-writing skills. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications from OEM vendors (e.g., HPI, Dell, Lenovo Technical Sales Professional, Etc). Familiarity with DaaS (Device-as-a-Service) and hybrid workplace technologies.
