Precast Tekla Modeler Structural designer

As a skilled Structural designer with experience in commercial and industrial building projects, you will be responsible for the following key activities: - Develop accurate and detailed 3D models using Tekla Structures for commercial and industrial building projects. - Prepare comprehensive shop drawings, GA drawings, and reinforcement details for precast and structural elements. - Develop models for walls, beams, columns, panels, rebar detailing, and ensure model accuracy and compliance with BIM tools like Revit and Tekla Structures. - Handle Canadian and USA region projects. - Have a dedicated experience in precast structures of minimum 12 to 20 years. - Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of design intent and construction feasibility. - Apply industry standards and project specifications to ensure model accuracy and drafting quality. - Support the engineering team in precast layout planning, connection detailing, and quantity take-offs. - Identify and resolve modeling clashes and constructability issues during the design phase. To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: - Proficiency in Tekla Structures with a focus on precast concrete modeling. - Experience in commercial and industrial building projects is essential. - Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings. - Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. - Effective communication and team collaboration abilities. - A Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field is preferred.
