Position Summary: A. Pre Primary Teacher (All Subjects) B. Middle and High School Teacher (Hindi and Social Science) Teachers at Gopalan National School (North) are responsible for educating, preparing them for higher education and future careers. Teachers are expected to deliver engaging and effective instruction in their subject area, assess student progress, and collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student success. Key Responsibilities: 1. Instructional Planning and Delivery: - Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill curriculum requirements and address diverse student needs. - Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles. - Integrate technology and hands-on activities to enhance learning experiences. 2. Classroom Management: - Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning. - Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among students. - Manage classroom resources and ensure the physical and emotional safety of all students. 3. Assessment and Evaluation : - Design and administer assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress. - Maintain accurate and complete records of students' academic performance and attendance. - Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding academic and behavioural performance. 4. Professional Development: - Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and subject matter expertise. - Collaborate with colleagues to improve instructional strategies and share resources. - Attend faculty meetings, workshops, and school events as required. 5. Student Support and Guidance: - Identify students' individual learning needs and provide additional support as necessary. - Offer academic advice and mentorship to students to help them achieve their educational goals. - Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns. 6. School and Community Involvement: - Participate in school-wide events, extracurricular activities, and community outreach initiatives. - Serve on committees and contribute to school improvement efforts. - Foster positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and community members. **Qualifications:** - **Education:** Bachelors degree in Education or relevant subject area - **Certification:** Valid state teaching certification for the subject and grade level. - **Experience:** Previous teaching experience at the school level preferred. -Skills: - Strong knowledge of subject matter and curriculum standards. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to inspire and motivate students. - Proficient in classroom management and student assessment techniques. - Competency in using educational technology and software.
