Pre-Primary Teacher

A preschool teacher's job involves planning age-appropriate lessons and activities to foster social, emotional, and cognitive development in young children. Key duties include creating a safe and nurturing classroom environment, monitoring and reporting on children's progress to parents, and communicating with families and staff. Teachers also manage daily routines like meals and rest, encourage social skills, and maintain a clean and safe classroom.  Key Responsibilities Curriculum & Instruction: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that teach basic concepts like letters, numbers, shapes, and colors through songs, games, and hands-on activities.  Classroom Management: Create and maintain a positive, safe, and organized learning environment that promotes creativity, exploration, and social interaction.  Child Development: Monitor children's progress in all areas of development (social, emotional, cognitive, physical), identify any concerns, and report them to parents.  Parent Communication: Build positive relationships with parents, provide regular updates on their child's development, and offer guidance on supporting learning at home.  Socialization & Behavior: Encourage positive social behaviors, teach problem-solving skills, and help children learn to cooperate and respect others.  Daily Routines: Manage daily activities such as meal times, rest periods, and playtime, ensuring children's safety and well-being throughout the day.  Collaboration: Work with other teachers, staff, and administrators to create a cohesive educational experience and share best practices.
