Require Experience : - 3 & above year in Power sector like that Substation Switchyard , Transmission Line, Renewable ( Solar , wind , BESS and PSP) Qualification :- BE/ B.tech (Electrical ) -2 Nos and BE/ B.tech (civil) 2 Nos A "T&D Tender Engineer" job description typically involves managing the entire tendering process for Renewable AC DC , Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects, Switchyard Substation 66Kv,132kv, 220KV , 400kV , 765kV , AIS /GIS ensuring accurate and compliant bids are submitted, and securing contracts for the company. Here's a breakdown of the key responsibilities and skills:Key Responsibilities:RFQ Preparation & Submission:Thoroughly analyse tender documents, understanding technical requirements, scope of work, and qualification criteria. Prepare and submit complete and compliant tender documents, ensuring all necessary information is included. Prepare Techno-Commercial bids for tenders. Cost Estimation & Analysis:Develop accurate cost estimates for projects, considering all relevant factors. Precision in item wise quantity & cost calculation, which will reflect in accuracy of estimate of all items during execution.Analyse project requirements and prepare cost estimates. Vendor Management:Identify and select suitable vendors/suppliers for specific projects & making long term business relationship.Selection of regional players for civil & electrical erection works to avoid any hinderances at execution level with optimisation of resources & cost. Negotiate contract terms and conditions with vendors, ensuring fair and beneficial agreements. Communication & Collaboration:Communicate effectively with internal teams (e.g., sales, contracts, project management) and external stakeholders (e.g., clients, vendors). Clarify technical queries and address concerns from various departments. Contract Management:Assist in contract negotiation and ensure that the terms and conditions are fair and beneficial to the organization. Manage the entire tendering process, from receiving the tender request to contract allocation and handover to the project department. Other Responsibilities:Prepare documents for e-Tendering. Collect quotations from vendors. Prepare comparative statements. Meet deadlines for tenders received from public sector undertakings or government. Required Skills:Technical Expertise:Strong understanding of T&D projects, including transmission lines, substations, and related equipment. Item wise technical understanding of product (CRP/SAS etc) and other items to optimise the costing.Tendering & Bidding:Experience in preparing and submitting tenders, including knowledge of tender documents, qualification criteria, and scope of work. Cost Estimation & Analysis:Ability to develop accurate cost estimates and analyse project requirements. Negotiation Skills:Strong negotiation skills to secure favourable contract terms. Communication & Interpersonal Skills:Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Problem-Solving Skills:Ability to identify and resolve issues that arise during the tendering process. Software Proficiency:Proficiency in relevant software, such as CAD, ERP, and project management tools.
