Job Description

Role & responsibilities Production Planning: Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and ensure timely delivery. Create and manage manufacturing orders. Plan production batches based on raw material levels and production time. Monitor and coordinate with the supply chain team regarding storage space and changes in the production plan. Optimize resource utilization, including equipment and personnel, in a multi-plant/multi-location environment. Inventory Control: Forecast inventory requirements based on sales forecasts and customer demand. Monitor and control raw material and finished goods inventory levels to ensure smooth production. Plan the procurement process based on customer demand forecasting. Manage machinery productivity and optimize machine utilization. Maintain and update inventory records and databases. Coordination and Communication: Communicate effectively with internal departments, including marketing, sales, and procurement. Monitor and address any issues related to the production process. Provide inventory data to the accounting department. Other: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and inventory management. Prepare and analyze reports on production performance and inventory levels. May be involved in demand planning and supply planning. May be required to have experience in SAP PP/MM/APO and Oracle (ASCP) applications. Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of production planning and inventory control principles. Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a related industry. Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and quality standards. Proficiency in relevant software, such as SAP or Oracle. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in SCM-(Demand Planning, Material planning, Production planning, and supply planning).
