PowerBuilder Developer/Programmer

As a PowerBuilder Application Developer, your role will involve the following tasks: - Work with business partners on bugs and defect fixes, maintenance, and enhancements for PowerBuilder applications, as tracked through Jira - Troubleshoot legacy PowerBuilder application issues and collaborate with Technical Lead(s), App Dev Lead(s), and Business to resolve them - Perform unit/code testing following industry standards and procedures - Support QA Testing and UAT testing according to industry standards and procedures - Manage source code, changes, and releases effectively - Contribute to development tasks to support Drinking Water Protection modernization efforts - Participate actively in team meetings, project planning meetings, and stand-up meetings - Engage in requirements review, code review, sprint planning/review activities, and current state analysis as assigned - Estimate effort/duration for tasks accurately - Communicate status, issues, and roadblocks transparently, collaborating with Technical Lead(s) and SME(s) to resolve them - Contribute to future state Java migrations/applications as requested - Provide knowledge transfer to State staff - Perform any other related duties as assigned Qualifications Required: - Experience in PowerBuilder application development roles - Proficiency in writing PL/SQL database procedures - Familiarity with PFC class libraries - Knowledge of Client Server technologies such as VB, Delphi, or PowerBuilder - Experience using Git as a source code management tool - Proficiency in SQL for CRUD Operations and/or View creation - Experience working with Oracle Relational Database - Ability to work with legacy technology and update code or fix errors - Knowledge of JavaScript and related frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue Please note that this company values teamwork, effective communication, and continuous learning to drive success in the technology modernization projects.,
