PowerBI Developer

As a Power BI Visualization Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making. Your expertise in Power BI, along with secondary skills in Power Platform, Python, data modeling, and ETL processes, will be highly valuable for the analytics team. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements. - Translate datasets into insightful visual representations for stakeholders and product owners. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define key performance indicators (KPIs). - Perform data modeling, establish relationships, and optimize data structures within Power BI. - Write and manage complex DAX formulas for custom measures and calculated columns. - Develop and maintain ETL processes using Power Query, SSIS, or Python-based solutions. - Utilize Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate) to enhance dashboard interactivity and automate workflows. - Work with Data Engineering to handle large data volumes and create scalable data pipelines. - Apply Python for data wrangling, advanced analytics, and embedding custom logic into dashboards. - Ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance across reporting solutions. - Provide technical support and offer best practices guidance to end-users. Required Qualifications: - Demonstrated experience in Power BI dashboard and data model development. - Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and DAX. - Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and relationship creation between data sources. - Familiarity with Power Platform tools: Power Apps and Power Automate. - Experience in ETL development using Power Query, SSIS, or Python. - Proficient in SQL and experience with databases like SQL Server or PostgreSQL. - Hands-on experience with Python scripting for analytics and data transformation. - Solid grasp of data security, governance, and role-based access control. - Analytical problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: - Exposure to Azure Data Services (Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Databricks). - Familiarity with integrating machine learning into Power BI. - Knowledge of the KEDRO framework or similar pipeline orchestration tools. - Experience with AI-driven analytics and predictive modeling. - Microsoft certifications such as Data Analyst Associate or Power Platform App Maker.
