Responsibilities: Renewable integration Power system network modelling experience in PSCAD and ETAP. Protection and coordination studies knowledge. Conduct various simulation studies with a focus on Transient stability studies and harmonic studies in PSCAD. Benchmark and validate developed simulation models in PSCAD to ensure accuracy and reliability. Implement Renewable inverter and Power Plant Controller model into the simulation model platform. Investigate and analyze Renewable inverter functions/features in relation to connected grid systems. Ability to perform Insulation Coordination studies, Line or Cable Energization, Transformer Energization and Surge Arrester selection.
