Power BI Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer with 2 years of hands-on experience to join our growing analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data modeling, dashboard development, and performance optimization within the Power BI environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to transform raw data into meaningful business insights. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI. - Connect Power BI to various data sources like SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, etc. - Integrate Power BI with SAP systems (such as SAP BW, SAP HANA, or SAP S/4HANA) to extract and transform business data. - Build and manage data models, calculated measures, and KPIs using DAX. - Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather reporting requirements and deliver business intelligence solutions. - Develop ETL logic using Power Query and optimize data flows for performance. - Ensure secure, accurate, and timely data access through proper configuration of Row-Level Security (RLS) and scheduled refreshes. - Document report specifications, data sources, and system processes. - Optimize dashboards for performance and usability. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Minimum 2 years of experience in Power BI development. - Proven experience in SAP data integration with Power BI (using SAP connectors or other integration tools). - Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M language), and data modeling. - Hands-on experience working with SQL databases and data extraction techniques. - Ability to work with large datasets and optimize dashboards for performance. - Understanding of ETL processes, data governance, and data quality standards. - Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
