POS TESTER

Role Overview: As a POS Tester, you will be expected to work towards achieving results by clarifying expectations and focusing on completing tasks on time and to the correct standard. Key Responsibilities: - Work as part of multi-functional, passionate agile project teams to ensure quality is driven into the development process from requirements definition through to delivery - Contribute towards predictable delivery of quality releases - Research, recommend, and implement tools to enhance automation - Mentor team members on product testing practices and tools - Proactively identify and address issues by proposing innovative solutions - Log and track defects - Coordinate with other project teams for project-specific activities - Mentor new and junior team members in testing activities and issue resolution - Execute task breakdown and estimation - Resolve technical issues and work with multi-site project teams - Manage multiple projects concurrently Qualifications Required: - B.E degree (CS, EC, IT, IS) or any post-graduation (ME/M.Tech/MCA) - 2-6 years of experience in software testing - Understanding of SDLC, automated QA processes in agile development environments, bug tracking, and test management tools - Knowledge of STLC, functional testing, integration with retail domain pos testing, iso8583, emv concepts - Familiarity with testing fundamentals such as TDD & BDD - Experience in Manual testing - Proficiency in Agile PLC - Strong social skills (Note: The additional details of the company were not present in the provided job description.),
