","role":" JOB SUMMARY ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES The candidate will lead the fulfillment of a small set of portfolios of technical asset management contracts for solar renewable energy projects, provide engineering consulting services, and support the Portfolio Management, Onboarding and Technical Asset Management teams. o Fulfill technical requirements of the Asset Management contracts: o Evaluate technical performance of client sites and identify data and performance issues and recommendations for improvement o Oversee Operations and Maintenance providers and provide technical feedback and support o Track equipment and data outages and take steps to reduce frequency and duration o Manage and maintain tickets reflecting Operations and Maintenance issues; monitor site performance o Analyze and provide feedback on spares strategy o Participate in root cause analysis and problem resolution o Provide monthly reports of site performance metrics o Discuss technical issues with technical and non-technical internal audiences o Audit performance and availability guarantee reports o Assist with Technical Onboarding of new solar sites including reviewing drawings and site design, reviewing o PVSyst and setup of expected energy model, site data evaluation with feedback to client. o Provide technical guidance on handoff from developer to O&M provider, participate in onboarding and turnover calls with client, developer and O&M provider. o Compare design, model data and financial forecasts to identify gaps and issues. o Drive resolution of problems of medium complexity and team-based scope. Assist Technical Lead on project resolution and performance analysis as required. o Represent the team in routine communications with clients and within the organization. o Coach and train newer team members on job specific roles and processes. o Drive small team improvement initiatives. REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & EDUCATION o Working knowledge in the renewable energy performance field. o Proven documentation, presentation, and communication skills. o University Degree with 2-4 years of experience in the domain. o Masters/Graduate degree and 0-2 years experience in domain. REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES o PV plant performance analysis, solar industry best practices, energy storage concepts o Power generation and substation concepts o Familiarity with module/inverter/tracking system technology o Electrical and solar equipment testing procedures o Data analysis and reporting o Basic leadership and project management skills o Able to liaise with clients on difficult matters in a professional manner o Big picture thinking that drives team to meet organizational goals and provides team-based improvements o Root cause analysis & process improvement o Able to lead and work as part of a team REQUIRED SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE o Expertise in MS Office MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe PDF toolsets o Familiarity with databases. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE o PV simulation software such as PVSYST o Experience in customer service o Process improvement experience o Experience in the green energy or utilities domain o Experience with a U.S. based company PREFERRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES o Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills o Strong communication skills with the ability to distill information and present it in an understandable manner appropriate for the audience
