We are currently expanding our medical division and looking for a specialized Medical Career Counsellor to guide aspiring doctors through the rigorous journey of medical entrance exams and admissions. Role Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and empathetic counsellor who understands the landscape of medical education in India (and abroad, if applicable). You will be the primary point of contact for students (Grades 9–12) and their parents, helping them navigate academic planning, NEET preparation strategies, and the complex medical counselling/admission process. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Academic Guidance Analyze students' academic profiles and aptitude to determine their suitability for a career in medicine. Create personalized roadmaps for students from Grade 9 onwards, focusing on subject mastery (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and foundation building. Advise on "Plan B" options, introducing students to allied health careers (e.g., Dentistry, Ayurveda, Veterinary, Biotechnology) if MBBS is not the immediate path. 2. Admission & Application Management Provide end-to-end support during the NEET Counselling process (All India Quota & State Quota), ensuring students understand seat matrices, college tiers, and cut-offs. Assist with the technical aspects of application forms, document verification, and choice filling to ensure zero errors. Stay updated on the latest regulations by the NMC (National Medical Commission), NTA (National Testing Agency), and changes in fee structures or bond policies of medical colleges. 3. Student Mentorship & Support Conduct one-on-one sessions to address the high stress and anxiety often faced by medical aspirants. Act as a bridge between parents and students, managing expectations regarding performance and realistic college options. Organize workshops or seminars at our NSP campus on topics like "Cracking NEET," "Life in Medical College," etc. 4. Outreach & Conversion Engage with prospective students and parents who visit the campus, showcasing Polygon Campus’s expertise to convert inquiries into enrollments. Maintain a database of student interactions and follow-ups. Required Skills & Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Counselling, or a Science/Healthcare-related field. (A Master’s degree is a plus). Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of experience in education counselling, specifically with NEET/Medical aspirants or in an outcome-focused coaching environment. Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Indian medical entrance ecosystem (NEET UG), government vs. private college dynamics, and counselling rounds. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills (English & Hindi) to interact effectively with Delhi-based parents and students. High emotional intelligence and patience. Persuasive and confident demeanor. Tech Savvy: Proficient in MS Excel for data management and comfortable using CRM tools.
