Policy Lead (0.5–0.6 FTE) What you’ll do Shape policy discourse: Define our stance on AI ethics, data privacy, and regulatory compliance. Mentor interns: Guide policy interns, set goals, review work, and support growth. Represent Zephara AI: Engage with regulators, industry bodies, and partners. Develop policy content: Author briefs, whitepapers, and submissions relevant to criminal legal tech. Monitor trends: Track AI and legal regulations; advise leadership on emerging risks and opportunities. What we are looking for Strong grasp of AI, legal frameworks, and policy landscapes. Ability to translate technical/legal complexity into clear recommendations. Track record in drafting policy documents and engaging stakeholders. Excellent mentorship and leadership capabilities.
