Poetics - Architecture for the Place

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Architect with a passion for sustainable architecture. The ideal candidate will be a B. Arch graduate with 1 year experience. The role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development within our team. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the design and development of architectural projects. -Support senior architects in preparing design proposals, drawings, and presentations. -Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet sustainability criteria and client requirements. -Participate in site visits and assist with project inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications. -Contribute to the creation of detailed construction drawings. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s degree is a plus). 1 year of professional experience in architecture. Strong understanding of sustainable building practices and green building certifications. Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp). Skill in physical model making. Basic knowledge of building codes and regulations. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. A portfolio demonstrating design skills and previous work experience is required.
