A PMO (Project Management Office) with Oracle ERP project management experience and over 10 years of experience would typically have a strong background in managing large-scale ERP implementations, particularly Oracle-based solutions like Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Cloud ERP, or other Oracle modules. Key qualifications and skills for a PMO with this expertise might include: Extensive Experience in Oracle ERP : Proficient in the implementation and upgrade of Oracle ERP solutions. Expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP, Oracle EBS, or other related modules (like Oracle Financials, Procurement, SCM, HRMS, etc.). Knowledge of Oracle integration with third-party systems and custom solutions. Project Management Expertise : Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches. Leading and managing large, complex projects from initiation to closure. Proven track record in delivering projects on time, within scope, and under budget. PMO Oversight and Governance : Experience in creating and managing project management frameworks and methodologies within a PMO. Implementing governance models, tracking project performance, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards. Managing resource allocation, risk management, and issue resolution across multiple Oracle ERP projects. Stakeholder Management : Ability to interact with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams. Experience in managing expectations, facilitating discussions, and ensuring business objectives are aligned with ERP implementation goals. Effective communication and reporting skills to provide regular updates to executives and other stakeholders. Change Management : Expertise in managing organizational change during Oracle ERP implementations. Experience in developing and executing training programs for end-users. Knowledge of change management best practices, including communication strategies, training, and post-implementation support. Technical Understanding : Deep understanding of Oracle ERP modules and their technical capabilities, configurations, and customizations. Ability to collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure the system meets business requirements. Experience with Oracle database and cloud infrastructure. Tools and Methodologies : Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or others. Experience using ERP testing tools, scheduling tools, and issue tracking systems. Deep understanding of performance metrics, KPIs, and other reporting methods to track the health of the project. Certifications (optional but beneficial): PMP (Project Management Professional) certification. Oracle-specific certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Specialist or Oracle ERP Cloud certification). Agile/Scrum certifications.
