Plumber

Job Summary

The Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drainage, water supply lines, and sanitation systems. The role ensures smooth operation of plumbing infrastructure and handles emergency repairs promptly.

Key Responsibilities1. Installation & Repair

• Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, and sanitary fittings.
• Repair leaks, blockages, broken pipes, faucets, valves, pumps, and other plumbing fixtures.
• Install and maintain toilets, sinks, showers, pipelines, RO connections, and water tanks.

2. Preventive Maintenance

• Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems.
• Identify potential issues and execute preventive measures.
• Clean drains, traps, and pipelines regularly to avoid blockages.

3. Troubleshooting

• Diagnose plumbing issues using appropriate tools.
• Repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning components.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns promptly.

4. Equipment Handling

• Use plumbing tools (pipe cutter, threading machine, wrench, drill, etc.) safely and efficiently.
• Install and maintain motors, pumps, and water heaters (if required).

5. Documentation

• Maintain daily work reports and job completion records.
• Update maintenance logs and report major issues to supervisors.

6. Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety procedures while handling tools and equipment.
• Ensure plumbing installations comply with company standards and regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas after completing tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

• ITI / Diploma in Plumbing or relevant field (preferred).
• 1–5 years of experience in plumbing work (freshers can be trained).
• Good knowledge of water supply systems, drainage systems, and sanitary fittings.
• Ability to read basic technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Willingness to work in shifts or on call during emergencies.
• Physical capability to work in tight spaces, heights, and varied environments.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹13,500.00 per month
