Job Description

Proven work experience (4
-8+ years
) in software development, with specific experience in
RBM/NRM/ZIRA
COTS products, ideally within the telecom or financial billing domain
Hands-on experience with tools (e.g. Confluence, SonarQube, Jenkins, GitHub, Docker)
Design, develop, and maintain complex databases using Oracle and PL/SQL. This includes creating and optimizing PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views
Write and tune complex SQL queries for optimal performance, ensuring efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
Work closely with application developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, design solutions, and integrate database components with applications.
Implement and enforce measures to ensure data integrity, consistency, and security within the database environment.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize database performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, code comments, and process flows.
Provide support for database-related issues, including debugging and resolving production problems.
Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and overall code quality
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java) is a plus for automation efforts
Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla)
Understanding of API testing and web technologies
In-depth understanding of billing processes, revenue management, and related BSS (Business Support Systems) is highly preferred
Wider understanding of at least 3-4 different domain areas like order management, assurance and different products like fiber broadband and all the B2B products would be an advantage
