About the Role: To leverage expertise in automation software and custom coding languages to develop, install, and troubleshoot automated machine systems. Collaborate with design and application teams to tailor solutions that meet specific mechanical and electrical automation needs. Ensure systems are tested for efficiency, safety, and reliability, while providing technical support and documentation. Deliver programming solutions that enhance customer value propositions and support commissioning efforts, with a willingness to travel and independently handle customer needs. Responsibilities: Collaborate with design, application teams, and clients to define and discuss mechanical or electrical automation requirements.Interpret and utilize electrical or mechanical schematics to demonstrate system processes and functionality.Develop and install machine automation programs using specialized automation software and custom programming languages.Define automation test criteria and oversee system testing to ensure efficiency, safety, and reliability before final installation.Troubleshoot system errors and provide timely resolution to ensure smooth operation.Document the development process and ensure all procedures are well-documented for future reference and standardization.Offer technical support and solutions to customer queries, ensuring optimal system performance and client satisfaction.Write and optimize programs with minimal debugging, focusing on standardization and efficiency.Enhance the value proposition for customers by identifying and implementing improvements in automation solutions.Lead the commissioning and full-scale testing of machines, particularly in software and programming aspects.Be willing and able to travel as required to address business needs, independently handling customer relations and on-site issues. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.E) in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), or Mechanical Engineering. Experience: 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience in the field. Required Skills:Proficient in CNC systems, robotics, and vision systems.Hands-on experience with various controllers, including Siemens, Fanuc, Rexroth, Mitsubishi, and Schneider.Solid knowledge in PLC programming (LAD/STL) and CNC programming using G-code and M-code.Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C#, VB, or other similar languages.Experience with application development platforms like Visual Studio, Eclipse, or similar tools is advantageous.Strong programming skills with an emphasis on logical thinking and problem-solving.Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
