Platform Engineer

Job Title: Platform Reliability Engineer About the Role: We are seeking a Platform Reliability Engineer to support the architecture, development, and maintenance of core platform solutions for payer & biller-facing products. This role focuses on scalability, reliability, and security , leveraging agile principles, test-driven development, and CI/CD. Key Responsibilities: Collaboration Work with development, QA, and product teams for seamless integration and operations. Platform Maintenance – Assist in provisioning, maintaining, and supporting platform infrastructure. Performance Optimization – Analyze and enhance platform performance for efficiency and reliability. Incident Management – Conduct post-mortems to drive continuous improvement. Compliance & Security – Contribute to PCI, PADSS, SOC Type2, and SOX audit initiatives. Automation – Develop and maintain scripts/tools to improve operations and reduce manual work. Process Improvement – Recommend best practices to enhance software engineering reliability and resiliency. Innovation – Research and introduce new tools and services to improve productivity. Who We Seek: 8+ years of experience in SaaS software development or operations , preferably in FinTech (banking, payments, lending) . Expertise in Cloud Services (PaaS/IaaS), primarily Azure (experience with other cloud platforms is a plus). Proficiency in DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Security best practices . Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Kong/Nginx, Redis, AzureDB . Hands-on skills with IaC automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell). Strong understanding of SRE principles, CI/CD pipelines, and observability practices . Experience in highly regulated environments (HIPAA, PCI, SOC 2, etc.). Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
