Job Description

Role & responsibilities Conduct detailed analysis of competitive products to understand design features, materials, and manufacturing methods Create comprehensive technical documentation of analysed products Identify opportunities for cost reduction and performance improvements Develop enhanced versions of existing products that meet regulatory requirements Collaborate with CFT teams to optimize manufacturing processes Support quality assurance and regulatory compliance efforts Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturing Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master'sdegree in Product Design, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field 5+ years of experience in medical device design with focus on disposable/consumable products Strong knowledge of plastic manufacturing processes (injection moulding, extrusion, blow moulding) Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or similar) Familiarity with medical-grade plastics and their properties Understanding of regulatory requirements (ISO 13485, FDA, CE marking) Experience with material testing and analysis techniques
