Plastic Injection Mould Designer

Job Description

B.E./ B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech. (preferably in Plastic/polymer engineering). Minimum Experience 4 years in injection mold design and manufacturing. Technical knowledge of All types of plastic injection molds(viz. hot runner, cold runner, 3 plate, 2 plate, etc). Electrode design for manufacturability. CAM (preferred). Drafting and reverse engineering of parts. Mold drafting. All manufacturing processes related to mold manufacturing. Basic knowledge of different plastics and their properties. Technical software required Thorough efficacy with UNIGRAPHICS (NX) with CAD and CAM both. AUTOCAD 2D, AUTOCAD 3D. AUTODESK MOLD FLOW analysis (Preferred). Other basic requirements MS word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc Knowledge of and efficacy with the Internet. Team work and team spirit. Responsibilities Mold design Electrode design CAM. (preferred) Mold & part drafting Making reference drawings for EDM, Wire-cut, milling, turning , etc Mold flow analysis (preferred) ISO documentation Participation in process planning and execution Languages known English Hindi Gujarati (preferred)
