Plant Operator

As an AC Plant Operator at our company, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance team, ensuring the efficient operation of air conditioning systems in our plant. Operating in a fast-paced environment, your primary focus will be on maintaining and optimizing the performance of these systems to ensure the comfort and safety of all occupants while adhering to safety standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Operate and monitor air conditioning and refrigeration systems to maintain optimal performance. - Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all refrigeration equipment. - Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues related to air conditioning units. - Ensure equipment operates in accordance with safety standards, guidelines, and manufacturer specifications. - Keep detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and performance reports. - Respond promptly to emergency calls related to refrigeration systems and provide quick resolutions. - Support the Maintenance Manager in various maintenance activities. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of plant areas and equipment. Qualifications: - ITI Diploma or equivalent is required. - Proven experience as an AC Plant Operator. - Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, including chillers, cooling towers, and associated equipment. - Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration equipment. - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to refrigeration systems.
