Job Description

Job Title:

Job Summary:

Injection Molding and Assembly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership:

    • Manage all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality, stores, engineering, maintenance, and tool department.
    • Drive performance improvements in key metrics such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and OTIF (On Time In Full).
    • Ensure adherence to Quality Management Systems (QMS), with a focus on

      ISO 13485 compliance.

    • Collaborate with other departments to align production with business goals, excluding sales and business development.
  • Team Development & Training:

    • Lead, mentor, and upskill employees, with a focus on continuous training and employee development.
    • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement across all departments.
  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize processes, reduce downtime, and enhance product quality.
    • Lead initiatives to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and achieve cost savings.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations,

      GMP, ISO 13485

      , and other relevant industry standards.
    • Proactively address and resolve any quality or safety concerns.
  • Maintenance & Engineering:

    • Oversee preventive maintenance programs and ensure that all plant equipment, including tooling, is properly maintained.
    • Work closely with engineering teams to drive innovation and improvements in manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical packaging industries.
  • Expertise in injection molding, printing, assembly, and maintenance processes.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP,

    ISO 13485, ISO 15378,

    clean room operations.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and improving operational efficiency.
  • Hands-on leadership style, with a focus on employee training, development, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with experience in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma.

Preferred:

  • Experience in plant expansion or scaling operations.
  • Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Experience in Project Management
