Key Responsibilities

1. Plant Operations & Production Management

• Oversee entire manufacturing operations including production planning, scheduling, and execution.
  
• Ensure achievement of daily/weekly/ monthly production targets with adherence to quality & delivery timelines.
  
• Optimize utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and methods.
  

2. Manufacturing Excellence

• Drive initiatives in

  Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM

  , and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Implement best practices in manufacturing engineering and process optimization.
  
• Lead plant automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  

3. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure strict compliance with quality management systems (ISO/TS standards).
  
• Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce rejections and customer complaints.
  
• Maintain safety, health, and environmental compliance as per statutory norms.
  

4. Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams across production, quality, maintenance, logistics, and engineering.
  
• Promote a performance-driven culture and ensure workforce discipline.
  
• Coordinate with HR for manpower planning, training, and employee engagement.
  

5. Cost & Productivity Management

• Develop and manage operational budgets, cost controls, and productivity targets.
  
• Implement waste reduction activities and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
  
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through process improvement and technology upgrades.
  

6. Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with senior management for strategic planning and reporting.
  
• Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and auditors to ensure smooth operations.
  
• Represent the plant during audits, customer visits, and management reviews.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 1520 years of experience with at least

  5+ years in a Plant Head / Factory Head / Unit Head role

  .
• Strong operations leadership in an

  Auto Components manufacturing setup

  .
• Experience in turning around plants, improving KPIs, and driving continuous improvement.
  
• Assertive, disciplined, and highly process-oriented leader with excellent communication skills.
