Reports To: Plant Head / Operations Manager
Experience Required: 2–6 years in manufacturing/plant coordination roles

1. Role Purpose

The Plant Coordinator ensures smooth day-to-day operations of the steel/tube plant by coordinating between Production, QA/QC, Maintenance, Stores, HR, Dispatch, and Management. This role is responsible for follow-ups, documentation, tracking progress, and ensuring timely support across all departments.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Daily Operations Coordination

• Coordinate daily production plans, priorities, and shift targets with supervisors.
• Track ongoing jobs, pending orders, urgent requirements, and status updates.
• Monitor output, delays, bottlenecks, and escalate issues immediately.

B. Communication & Inter-Department Link

• Serve as the central point of communication between Production, Quality, Stores, Purchase, HR, and Maintenance teams.
• Follow up on material availability, manpower requirements, machine issues, and production dependencies.
• Communicate management instructions to all concerned departments.

C. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain correct data entry in Excel sheets.

D. Maintenance Support Coordination

• Record machine breakdowns and follow up with maintenance team for timely resolution.
• Maintain the preventive maintenance calendar and ensure schedules are adhered to.
• Keep track of tools, gauges, and calibration requirements.

3. Required Qualifications

• Graduate / Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or related fields.
• 2–6 years experience in plant coordination or manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of production processes (preferably steel/tube/metal industry).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
