Job Description

As a Planning & MI System at Barclays, your role involves supporting BAU operations with a focus on smooth operation of the BAU and minor-works changes. You will be responsible for executing day-to-day operational support for the Cost, Planning & Stress Testing Systems and serving as the first point of contact for business user queries and change initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Understand Hyperion Cost, Planning & Stress Testing to support multiple submissions and implement solutions to business requirements - Support testing and implementation of appropriate solutions and changes in a controlled manner - Monitor data interaction between upstream and downstream systems, pre-emptively highlight/resolve any possible breaks, ensure application readiness, manage stakeholders" expectations, achieve targeted business metrics, and ensure compliance with defined SLAs Qualifications Required: - Graduate degree (bachelors in commerce/technology or equivalent) - Strong knowledge of Hyperion Planning & Smart View with hierarchy knowledge across applications - Hands-on experience in Budgeting, forecasting, Stress testing, and hierarchy management - Ability to analyze and evaluate data quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and articulate problems clearly Additional Details: Some highly valued skills include knowledge of Financial Services in a banking environment and good data analytical and problem-solving skills. Desirable Skills/Preferred Qualifications: - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong verbal and written communication - Understanding of the change process - Takes responsibility for end results of a team's operational processing and activities - Understanding of Barclays products and businesses In this role based in Noida, your purpose will be to monitor and ensure adherence to data quality standards, processes, and initiatives to enhance overall data quality and enable effective decision-making. Accountabilities: - Identify and prioritize critical data elements requiring quality improvement - Develop and maintain data quality dashboards and reports to track progress and communicate data quality performance - Analyze data quality issues and trends, perform root cause analysis, and develop thematic data quality strategies and policies - Define requirements and specifications for proposed data remediation efforts to meet regulatory commitments and business objectives - Recommend and implement data quality improvement technologies and tools, including machine learning Analyst Expectations: - Perform activities in a timely manner and to a high standard, consistently driving continuous improvement - Lead and supervise a team, guide and support professional development, allocate work requirements, and coordinate team resources - Impact the work of related teams within the area and partner with other functions and business areas - Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls, adhere to relevant rules and regulations, and build an understanding of how own sub-function integrates with the function As a Barclays colleague, you are expected to demonstrate the Barclays Values of Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Stewardship, as well as the Barclays Mindset to Empower, Challenge, and Drive.,
