Planning Manager (BOQ/Quantity Surveying)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Bill of Quantities (BOQ) Preparation: Accurately prepare and manage BOQs for construction projects, ensuring detailed itemization. Rate Analysis: Conduct rate analyses for labor, materials, and equipment to establish competitive project costs. Procurement Management: Oversee the procurement of construction materials, managing vendor selection and contract negotiations. AutoCAD Utilization: Utilize AutoCAD for project planning and detailed drawing creation in collaboration with the design team. Project Planning: Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely progress. Purchasing Oversight: Manage purchasing activities to ensure timely material delivery while adhering to budget constraints. Quantity Surveying: Provide expert quantity surveying services, ensuring accurate cost estimation and value engineering throughout the project lifecycle.
