Planning & Control Engineer

Dhyey HR Services is Hiring Planning & Operations ( PPC ) for One of the leading Steel Industry based out at Gandhidham ( Kutch ) Location.

Position: Planning & Operations
Location: Foundry / Casting Plant, Gandhidham
Experience: Fresher (0–2 Years)
Qualification: MBA

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders.
• Plan material requirements (raw materials, cores, moulds, patterns).
• Coordinate with Stores & Purchase for timely material availability.

2. Operations Monitoring

• Monitor shop floor activities: melting, moulding, fettling.
• Prepare daily production and consumption reports.
• Follow up with supervisors and operators to ensure smooth production flow.

3. Process Control & Scheduling

• Schedule jobs for machines and allocate manpower effectively.
• Track rejections, delays, and breakdowns; escalate issues to seniors.
• Assist in optimizing cycle time and improving productivity.

4. Documentation & MIS

• Maintain records of production, WIP, and dispatch.
• Prepare MIS reports for management review.
• Support ISO/quality documentation for audits.

5. Coordination

• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Dispatch teams.
• Assist seniors in meeting customer delivery schedules.
• Support new product development trials from the planning side.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
