Job Title: Placement Officer

Job Summary

The Placement Officer is responsible for building strong relationships with companies, organizing campus recruitment activities, and supporting students in securing employment. The role involves coordinating placements, improving student employability, and maintaining employer partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with recruiters, HR teams, and hiring managers

Identify job opportunities for students and alumni

Organize campus recruitment drives, interviews, and job fairs

Coordinate with employers to schedule interviews and placement activities

Screen and shortlist candidates based on employer requirements

Guide students on career options, resume preparation, and interview readiness

Track placement data and prepare regular placement reports

Ensure students meet eligibility criteria for placements

Work closely with faculty and training teams to improve student employability

Handle offer letters, joining status, and employer feedback

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (MBA or HR preferred)

0–1 years of experience in placements, recruitment, or career services

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to network and build professional relationships

Good organizational and coordination skills

Familiarity with hiring processes and interview scheduling

Proficient in MS Office / Google Workspace

Ability to work with students and meet placement targets
