Placement Executive

1) Brief About the Position / Responsibilities:

The Placement Officer plays a vital role in ensuring successful employment outcomes for students by aligning their skills and aspirations with the right job opportunities. The position involves developing strong industry linkages, organizing placement activities, and preparing students for the job market. The Placement Officer works closely with multiple stakeholders including candidates, alumni, employers, and internal departments to drive effective placement results.

2) Job Description:

• Build and maintain strong connections with service industries, MSMEs, and manufacturing companies.
• Identify and secure job and apprenticeship opportunities for students.
• Plan and coordinate campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and industry interaction sessions.
• Conduct pre-placement talks and workshops.
• Guide candidates in resume writing, interview preparation, and workplace etiquette.
• Organize and conduct mock interviews.
• Maintain detailed records of placement activities and generate periodic reports.
• Engage with alumni to leverage their networks for placement opportunities.

3) Reporting and Team:

• Reporting to: Regional Operations Head / Zonal Manager – Placement
• Team Structure: May coordinate with other Placement Officers, Career Counsellors, and Operations team members depending on location.

6) Grade & Salary:

• Grade: Based on company’s internal grading system (Mid-Level Officer / Executive Grade)
• Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month (depending on location and experience)
• Performance-based incentives may apply.

7) Qualification & Experience:

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (any stream)
• Experience: 2–4 years of experience in placements, recruitment, or career services
• Candidates with a strong industry network will be preferred.

8) KPI / KRA (Key Performance Indicators / Key Result Areas):

• Number of students successfully placed per quarter
• Number of industry tie-ups and employer connections established
• Number of placement drives, campus interviews, and job fairs conducted
• Candidate satisfaction score from placement support services
• Timely and accurate maintenance of placement records and reports
• Alumni engagement and utilization rate for placement activities
• Number of students participating in mock interviews and pre-placement training sessions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
