Job Summary:
The Placement Coordinator is responsible for supporting the placement activities by coordinating between students, recruiters, and corporate partners. The role involves identifying suitable job opportunities, managing communication between candidates and employers, and ensuring smooth execution of placement processes and events.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Search and shortlist relevant job openings across various job portals such as LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, and Glassdoor.
• Coordinate with HR professionals, recruiters, and corporate representatives regarding job requirements and interview schedules.
• Assist in organizing placement drives, interviews, and recruitment-related events.
• Maintain and regularly update databases of company contacts, job listings, and candidate application status.
• Communicate placement opportunities, interview details, and updates to students/candidates in a timely manner.
• Provide necessary support and guidance to candidates throughout the selection process.
• Work closely with the Placement Officer and internal teams to ensure smooth placement operations.
• Prepare and submit reports on placement activities, interviews conducted, and candidate outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (MBA or HR specialization preferred).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with job portals and recruitment platforms.
• Strong coordination, multitasking, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with corporate partners and team members.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and Google Workspace tools.
