Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers.
Write and optimize SQL Functions (string, number, date, conversion, aggregate), Window Functions

(RANK, DENSE_RANK, ROW_NUMBER, LEAD, LAG, SUM OVER, moving averages), and CTEs
(Common Table Expressions) for cleaner and modular queries.

Perform database design, normalization, indexing, and schema management.
Create complex queries for reporting, ETL, analytics, and dashboards.
Conduct performance tuning (execution plan analysis, indexing strategies, partitioning).
Implement data validation, constraints, and business rules at the database level.
Support data migration, integration, and transformation projects.
Collaborate with developers to design backend database logic for applications.
Ensure data security, compliance, and integrity in all deliverables.

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in SQL (DDL, DML, DCL, TCL).
Hands-on experience in PL/SQL programming (procedures, functions, packages, cursors, exception

handling).

Experience with partitioning, bulk operations, advanced PL/SQL features.
In-depth understanding of SQL Functions, Window Functions, and CTEs.
Expertise in query optimization & performance tuning.
Strong foundation in data modelling & relational database design.
Familiarity with ETL processes, reporting tools, and data migration.
