Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate piping installation, Grooving and Grooved fittings installation, hydrotesting, and other related site activities.
• Ensure work is executed as per drawings, specifications, applicable codes (e.g., ASME, API), and project standards.
• Monitor daily construction progress and report to the Construction Manager or Project Manager.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, quality inspectors, and safety teams for efficient work execution.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical queries or field issues with engineering and design teams.
• Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and work permits for piping activities.
• Maintain as-built documentation and update drawings as required.
• Monitor and enforce site safety and quality control in line with company and client standards.
• Support the mechanical completion and handover process, including punch listing, final inspections, and test packs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in piping construction or execution in [oil & gas/petrochemical/power/infrastructure] projects.
• Familiarity with piping materials, welding procedures, NDT methods, and hydrotesting.
• Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (ASME B31.3, B31.1, API, etc.).
• Proficient in reading and interpreting piping drawings, isometrics, and P&IDs.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in remote or site-based environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in welding inspection (e.g., CSWIP, AWS-CWI) or QA/QC is an advantage.
• Experience working with EPC contractors or on mega-projects.
• Familiarity with project management tools and construction scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
