Position - Piping Designer Industry - Oil & gas Software- SP3D/S3D Location - Chennai Experience- 5-15 Years Interview F2F Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Piping Designer with a strong background in the Oil & Gas or Refinery industry. The ideal candidate should possess between 5 to 15 years of hands-on experience in piping design and modeling, with expert-level proficiency in SmartPlant 3D (SP3D) . The designer will be responsible for developing piping layouts and models, producing design deliverables, and supporting multidisciplinary engineering teams. Key Responsibilities: Develop 3D piping models using SP3D in accordance with project specifications and standards. Prepare piping layouts, isometrics, general arrangement (GA) drawings, and pipe support details. Review and implement P&IDs, piping material specifications, and vendor drawings. Perform clash detection and resolve issues in collaboration with the 3D design team. Participate in design reviews (3D model reviews, HAZOPs, etc.). Adhere to project schedules and deliverables, ensuring high-quality output. Apply knowledge of applicable codes (ASME, ANSI, API, etc.) and industry standards.
