The Façade Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates by meticulously reviewing BOQs, architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents. The role involves evaluating all technical and commercial elements of façade, doors, and window systems and ensuring that estimates reflect the complete scope, material specifications, fabrication complexity, and installation conditions. Key Responsibilities: BOQ & Drawing Review: Analyze tender documents, architectural and structural drawings, and BOQs to extract scope and quantify materials. Identify discrepancies, missing information, or inconsistencies in BOQs or drawings. Interpret architectural intent and translate it into accurate material and fabrication estimates. Estimation & Costing: Prepare detailed cost estimates for façade elements such as curtain walls, ACP cladding, glazing, doors, windows (aluminium/UPVC/steel), louvers, and associated support systems. Include all direct and indirect costs such as material, fabrication, labour, transportation, installation, scaffolding/access, and wastages. Factor in glass specifications (DGU/SGU/laminated), hardware requirements, finishes (anodized/powder-coated), sealants, gaskets, etc. Consider site conditions, project complexity, and elevation challenges while estimating.
