This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross functional teams.Role & responsibilities Bank Reconciliation: Perform and oversee regular reconciliation of bank statements, ensuring accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and resolving issues promptly. Coding: Accurately categorize and allocate transactions to maintain transparent and reliable financial records. Ledger Scrutiny: Conduct thorough reviews and analysis of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy, compliance, and error rectification.GST Reconciliation: Ensure full compliance with GST regulations by reconciling transactions with tax records and reporting requirements. PAYE Reconciliation: Reconcile payroll tax deductions and employer contributions to ensure adherence to payroll and tax regulations. Balance Sheet and Profit/Loss Review: Conduct comprehensive periodic reviews of financial statements with comparative analysis to assess financial performance and identify trends. Posting Annual Journals: Prepare, review, and post manual journals in line with accounting and financial reporting standards.Annual Accounts Finalization: Lead the preparation and finalization of annual accounts for year-end closure ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and organizational policies. Preparing Annual Reports: Compile financial data, insights, and key financial metrics to develop detailed and comprehensive annual reports.
