Loader / Unloader – Job Description (Parcel & Grocery Scanning) Key Responsibilities: Load and unload grocery items and parcels from delivery trucks or containers. Scan grocery products or parcels using handheld scanners or mobile devices. Ensure correct barcodes are scanned and product counts are accurate. Sort items based on category, route, or delivery zone. Place items on racks, shelves, or in storage areas after scanning. Handle items carefully to avoid damage, especially perishable goods. Follow hygiene and safety protocols while handling food or grocery products. Maintain cleanliness in loading/unloading and scanning areas. Coordinate with delivery staff or warehouse supervisors for smooth operations. Report damaged or missing products immediately.
