Physical Design/Synthesis/STA AE Engineer

Role Overview: Cadence, a leader in electronic design with over 30 years of expertise in computational software, is seeking a talented individual to join their India Field Organization for the Digital and Signoff Group. As a member of this team, you will collaborate closely with semiconductor customers to develop innovative methodologies for implementing cutting-edge designs. You will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, influence product direction, and drive account strategy and campaigns. Key Responsibilities: - Independently drive RTL-to-GDSII metrics on complex designs - Lead methodology and solution-oriented discussions with key stakeholders - Collaborate with the sales team to drive account strategy and campaigns - Evangelize and promote the adoption of new technology among customers - Generate innovative solutions to customer challenges using tool capabilities or scripting techniques - Implement machine learning-based solutions to enhance productivity and PPA - Analyze complex problems and provide focused tool issue feedback for R&D resolution - Work with global AE teams and mentor junior team members Qualifications: - BE/BTech/ME/MS/MTech in Electrical/Electronics - 5+ years of experience in Digital Implementation flow on advanced nodes - Expertise in Synthesis/PnR/STA domains - Knowledge of scripting languages & Flow development is a plus - Strong debugging skills and ability to prioritize critical issues - Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills - Ability to build strong relationships with customers and management - Proven track record of exploring unconventional solutions to achieve goals - Collaborative mindset to work across functions and geographies - Commitment to excellence with integrity in all operations Company Details: Cadence is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment where employees are encouraged to innovate, collaborate, and make a difference.
