PHP Web Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented PHP Laravel Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, improving, and maintaining web applications using Laravel and modern PHP practices. You should have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel framework.

Write clean, scalable, and secure PHP code following best practices.

Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend components.

Work with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Optimize application performance, database queries, and server-side processes.

Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

Manage databases, migrations, and schemas using MySQL/PostgreSQL.

Implement and maintain authentication, authorization, and role-based access control.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.

Collaborate with designers, project managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality projects on time.

Create and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel Framework.

Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.

Solid understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and design patterns.

Experience with Blade templates, queues, scheduling, Eloquent ORM, and Laravel packages.

Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and third-party API integrations.

Familiarity with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and version control practices.

Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Vue.js (optional).

Knowledge of Linux or server management is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Laravel Livewire, Inertia.js, or Vue.js.

Knowledge of AWS, DigitalOcean, or cloud deployment workflows.

Familiarity with Docker or container environments.

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred, not mandatory).

1–2 years of experience in PHP Laravel development (depending on role: junior/mid/senior).
