The Pharmacy Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the work of pharmacists by providing excellent customer service to patients, managing inventory, dispensing medications, and ensuring the pharmacy operates efficiently Assist the pharmacist in dispensing medication to patients, including retrieving and labeling medication and providing information on dosage and administration Manage inventory, including receiving and stocking medication, tracking inventory levels, and maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment Assist with patient billing and insurance claims, including processing payments and communicating with insurance companies Provide excellent customer service to patients, including answering questions and providing information on medication use and side effects
