Job Description

Responsibilities

Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.

Provide expert advice and guidance on the safe use of medications to both patients and healthcare providers.

Conduct health and wellness screenings, administer immunizations, and oversee medication management programs.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapies and improve patient outcomes.

Maintain detailed and accurate pharmaceutical records, including patient profiles and inventory management.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in pharmaceuticals and healthcare to provide the most current information to customers and staff.

Manage and supervise pharmacy technicians and other support staff, ensuring efficient and safe pharmacy operations.

Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to prescriptions or pharmaceutical services.

Required Qualifications

A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.

Valid state pharmacy license in good standing.

Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical laws.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and team members.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Ability to work independently and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with pharmacy software and systems for record-keeping and patient management.
