Job Description

Responsibilities: Medicine Dispensing: Accurately dispense prescribed ophthalmic medications to patients. Ensure proper labeling and packaging of medications. Verify prescriptions and patient information for accuracy. Patient Education: Explain medication usage, dosage, and potential side effects to patients in a clear and understandable manner. Provide instructions on proper administration of eye drops, ointments, and other ophthalmic medications. Answer patient questions and address concerns regarding their medications. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory of ophthalmic medications and supplies. Monitor stock levels and reorder medications as needed. Ensure proper storage and handling of medications. Conduct regular inventory checks and audits. Call Handling and Communication: Answer incoming phone calls and provide information to patients and healthcare professionals. Schedule appointments and manage patient inquiries. Communicate effectively with clinic staff and physicians. Maintain patient confidentiality. Administrative Support: Assist with record keeping and documentation. Process prescription refills and insurance claims.
