Key Responsibilities: Pharmaceutical Forecasting: Develop and manage accurate demand, sales, and market forecasts for pharmaceutical products based on historical data, market insights, and client inputs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine forecasting models and improve forecasting accuracy across multiple markets and therapeutic areas. Use statistical and analytical tools to enhance the precision of forecasts. Data Analytics and Insights: Analyze complex datasets, applying advanced statistical techniques and predictive modeling to generate insights and identify trends that affect demand. Provide actionable insights to clients, helping them identify growth opportunities or mitigate potential risks. Leverage tools like SAP, Tableau, Power BI, and Excel to structure and present data-driven insights. Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate directly with pharmaceutical clients and internal teams to understand the forecast needs and business challenges. Actively participate in client workshops and meetings to gather business requirements and present results in a clear, concise manner. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership within client organizations. Supply Chain & Commercial Strategy: Ensure that forecasting outcomes are aligned with supply chain and commercial strategies, optimizing production, inventory levels, and distribution channels. Advise clients on optimizing their supply chain and commercial strategies based on forecast data. Market Intelligence: Stay updated with the latest pharmaceutical industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging market dynamics that may influence forecasts. Integrate market intelligence into the forecasting models to ensure that clients are well-prepared for any industry shifts. Reporting & Documentation: Create and present reports summarizing key insights, trends, and forecast accuracy, with clear recommendations for improvement. Document assumptions, methodologies, and processes to ensure transparency and consistency. Process Improvement and Innovation: Continuously refine forecasting processes, methodologies, and tools to improve efficiency and forecasting accuracy. Contribute to the development and sharing of best practices for forecasting and analytics across the EY Advisory teams. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Life Sciences, Supply Chain, or related field. A Master’s degree or certifications in Data Analytics or Supply Chain Management is a plus. Experience : 2-5 years of experience in forecasting, demand planning, or data analysis, preferably within the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or healthcare industries. Hands-on experience with forecasting tools and platforms (e.g., SAP, Tableau, Power BI, Excel). Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets and predictive modeling. Consulting Skills : Experience with client-facing roles, including the ability to present complex data and insights in a clear and actionable manner. Experience in consulting, advisory, or project management roles is highly beneficial. Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical information for senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to manage and influence client relationships effectively. Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous process improvement. Attention to Detail : High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy and consistency in forecasting. Preferred Skills: Experience in pharmaceutical market forecasting and analytics.
