We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Legal Studies Instructor to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in legal theory, practical experience in law, and a commitment to educating and inspiring students in the field of legal studies. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and workshops on topics such as constitutional law, criminal justice, civil law, legal writing, ethics, and more. Design curriculum, syllabi, lesson plans, and assessment tools aligned with academic standards and institutional guidelines. Evaluate and monitor student performance through exams, assignments, presentations, and class participation. Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students pursuing careers in law or related fields. Stay current with developments in legal education and incorporate relevant updates into teaching material. Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and faculty development programs. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress. Qualifications: Master’s degree or higher in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field (LL.M or J.D. preferred). Prior teaching experience at the secondary or post-secondary level preferred. Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Strong understanding of the legal system and current legal issues. Ability to use modern educational technology and online learning platforms. Preferred Skills: Experience in legal practice, legal research, or judiciary work. Curriculum design and academic content development. Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learning styles. Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
