Job Description

In this role at The Gurukulam School powered by Physics Wallah, as a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) English, your main responsibility will be to inspire students to develop a deep appreciation for language, literature, and communication. You should bring creativity, innovation, and enthusiasm into the classroom while maintaining strong academic rigor. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with CBSE curriculum for senior secondary classes (Grades X to XII). - Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments to ensure effective learning outcomes. - Foster critical thinking, reading comprehension, and writing proficiency among students. - Encourage creative expression through debates, dramatics, and literary activities. - Evaluate and record students" progress, providing feedback for improvement. - Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. - Collaborate with other faculty members for inter-disciplinary learning initiatives. - Support students in board exam preparation and language skill enhancement. Qualifications & Skills: - B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory). - Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level (preferred). - Strong command over English grammar, literature, and communication.
